Independence Statement
SecureIQLab Inc. is a US-based independent, third-party cybersecurity solution validation and advisory provider, headquartered in Austin, Texas.
- Testing is designed, executed, and reported by SecureIQLab without vendor control over methodology, execution, scoring, or final results.
- Each validation program is conducted under a defined methodology so readers can understand what was measured, how testing was conducted, and how results should be interpreted within the scope of the test.
Funding Model
The SecureIQLab non-commissioned comparative testing is funded by SecureIQLab.
- Vendors do not pay to influence test design, scoring, results, rankings, or report conclusions.
- Where vendors participate in commentary, dispute resolution, or related post-publication programs, SecureIQLab retains full responsibility for methodology, execution, analysis, and publication decisions.
Methodology Transparency and Attestation
SecureIQLab publishes CyberRisk Validation methodologies across cloud, application, AI, and infrastructure security categories.
- Methodologies measure security efficacy, operational efficiency, and return on security investment under defined test conditions.
- Test plans are publicly posted, vendors are notified through AMTSO processes, and commentary periods support transparency and accountability.
AMTSO Affiliation and Verification
SecureIQLab is a member of the Anti-Malware Testing Standards Organization and follows AMTSO processes for public test plans, methodology transparency, commentary, and attestation.
- SecureIQLab methodologies include AMTSO Test IDs, so readers can verify the associated test plans and methodology records directly through AMTSO.
- SecureIQLab leaders also serve in AMTSO governance: CEO Bhaarath Venkateswaran and David Ellis, VP of Research and Corporate Relations, both serve on the AMTSO Board of Directors.
- SecureIQLab senior researcher Cameron Camp participates in an AMTSO working group.

Mplify Accredited Test and Certification Partner
SecureIQLab is proud to have recently been named the Mplify SASE Accredited Test and Certification Partner (ATCP).
- The Mplify SASE Certification validates the cyber-defense effectiveness and application performance of SASE solutions.
- Testing is performed in a controlled lab environment, using test methodologies aligned with the Mplify SD-WAN, SSE and Zero Trust certification blueprints.1
